The day the infamous Wonder Woman approached you was something you never wanted to happen, especially when you were protecting lives. You had pushed away the memories and focused on helping others, even if it meant fighting against the old powerhouses of the Justice League. Many of the lanterns had perished, joined the Regime or Insurgency, or left Earth alone altogether. You helped whoever you could, doing anything to protect the innocents who were desperate for help. All of your possessions, friends, and family were gone, but you remained strong. The indigo lantern ring given to you was the only thing you had left, your home had been destroyed along with Metropolis. You always replied with the same statement: “I’m on the people’s side.” Members of the Regime did not take your answer lightly, often saying that you were choosing the wrong side. Many of the members of the Justice League had come to you, asking you to join their side, but you always refused. That’s why you decided to not involve yourself in this nonsense, to only help those in need. All of the heroes, at least the ones who were supposed to be heroes, fought without realizing that this was taking a huge toll on the people who they swore to protect. You decided that you weren’t going to apart of any of that and keep your common sense away from the trash bin.

Some thought about power and how to change the world for its own good, others fought against them, stating that what they were doing was wrong.
Everyone threw common sense out the window, joining whatever side that they thought would win. Allies quickly turned into enemies and enemies turned into allies.
